Rhinoplasty with chin implant
This case represents a before and after of a rhinoplasty in combination with a chin implant by Dr. Michael Spann. As you will see in her preoperative evaluation that she has a significant dorsal pump, poor tip aesthetics, and chin recession. Her operative planning included improving the dorsal aesthetic line in combination with improved tip rotation and profile view by adding a chin implant. Her images are approximately 12 months after surgery.

She was specifically bothered by the tip as well as the dorsal hump. Her aesthetic evaluation revealed significant dorsal hump in combination with the boxy tip. She underwent an open rhinoplasty. The biggest concern in a patient with a "Boxy" tip would be to avoid over-resection of the cartilage and giving an unnatural appearance. Her images are one year after surgery.

Her procedure was performed to a closed approach which required a simple incision inside of the nose. She has no visible external incisions.
